on the nght of the hijacking from the Portland International

ground in the search area reflects that weather conditions
were a wind blowing from the' west and a light misty rain
falling with wind velocity 10 to 15 knots. Further information
from this weather service veflects a ceiling of 5,009 feet.
At 3,500 feet medium to heavy cloud cover and at 1,500 feet
occasional sighting of the ground. .
