CAA ~ HIJACKING
At 4:35 a.m. this date, an ipdividual identifying
himself as representing the L eles Herald Examiner
telephonically contacted the Seattle Office, esting
to know if the Seattle Office of the FBY has an APB out
on_an individual identified b6
D.B. COOPER, the individual who hijacked the above b7c
mentioned airliner on November 24, 1971. He stated that he
had heard our office in West Virginia had allegedly arrested
this individual for this hijacking.
He was informed that no such APB had been put out by
the Seattle Office and that if he desired further information
concerning the hijacking he would have to get in contact with
the SAC today.
