CAA ~- HIJACKING; EXTORTION
On November 25, 1971, SACHELD of the Minneapolis
Office, called and advised that the Northwest Airlines,
after angulating the plane's position and reviewing the
log, concluded that the last known point when the subject
was in the plane was over Merwin, Oregon (actually in
Washington), the center of a triangle, the base of which
was Amboy, Oregon, one leg of which was at Cougar, Washing-
ton, the other leg at Pigeon Springs, Washington. An
examination of the map, however, revealed all points are
in Washington,
