That the United Nations is an integral part of Communist strategy was stated by Joseph Stalin in 1942 in his book Marxism And The National Question, where he wrote that the worid shouid be divided inio regional groups as a transitional stage to world government. Then, the regional groups would be brought inte = single world dictatorship. Later, on March 23, 1946, Pravda quoted Stalin as having declared: “I attribute great importance to U.N_O. since it is a serious instrument for preservation of peace and international security.” Poiiticai Affairs is the theoretical organ of the Communist Party, U.S.A. in April 1945 — two months before the San Francisco Conference at which the UN. was formally created — that journal told its readers: “Great popular support and enthusiasm for the United Nations policies should be built up, well organized and fully articulate ... . The opposition must be rendered so impotent that it will be unabie to gather any significant support in the Senate against the United Nations Charter and the treaties which will follow.” As Earl Browder, former General Secretary of the Communist Party, U.S.A., and twice its candi- date for President of the United States, wrote in his book Victory And After: “The American Communists worked energetically and tirelessly to lay the foun- dations for the United Nations, which we were sure would come into existence.” Just how tirelessly the comrades worked to build this “instrument of peace” was exposed in a study conducted in 1954 by the Senate Internal Security Sub- committee. In a Report entitled Activities Of United States Citizens Employed By The United Nations the Subcommittee revealed: ‘In our investigations of United States citizens employed by the United Nations, we found considerable evidence to indicate that Communists used the same techniques in infiltrating the U.N.
