should make peace and that Wevshould declare that the war is
over, that thea march of hunger and poverty is over and added
that the only trouble is that Nixon and Agnew hope to keep
this national crisis to maintain control of the people.
Mrs. King said her husband maintained there must be a radical
revolution in the form of a personal revolution in order to
change the society and that racism and militarism have to be
- put down. She concluded by saying, "You - people - let us make
the peace.” (100-463195-810, 777 p. 3,4)
In November, 1972, it waa known that Mrs. King continued
to be a member of the Board of Directors of the SCLC while
making frequent public appearances and speeches in behalf
of legitimate civil rights movements and activities. She is
akso active in collecting funds for the Martin Luther
King, Jr., Memorial Center in Atlanta, Georgia. (62-103052-72)
On November 30, 1974, Mre. King led a march sponsored by __
the Committee for Integrated Quality Education in Boston,
Massachusetts, to support busing for integration of the schools.
She was one of the speakers listed for a rally in connection
with the march, (157-6-5-A Daily World, 11/30/74.
