Detalis: On 04/21/1999, Sheriff Clay Whittle, Columbia County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), Appling, Georgia, contacted the Augusta Resident Agency office of the FBI. Sheriff Whittle advised the CCSO had questioned two local Evans High School (EHS) students on 04/19/1999, regarding death threats they reportedly niade at EHS. EHS services a suburban area near Augusta and has a student population of approximately 1,500 students. To date, although numerous students and faculty members have been interviewed, CCSO Investigators have been unable to substantiate that such threats were made.
