In a biographical sketch of the subject, it was stated that she joined the YOUNG COMMUNIST LEAGUE in about 1935. She had, at that time of the writing of the sketch, been a New York State Educational Director, New York State Chairman and Harlem Section Or- ganizer of the YOUNG COMMUNIST LEAGUE.
