Ruth, Jr. Special Prosecutor Watergate Special Prosecution Force SUBJECT: Charles Gregory Reboze Charles G. Rebozo is the subject and target of a grand jury inquiry concerning possible violations of the tax evasion provisions of Title 26 and the conspiracy provisions of Title 18, United States Code. The investigation concerns allegations that Mr. Rebozo received and retained large cash campaign contributions and subsequently diverted them to personal use. During the course of the investigation we have been seeking to identify the parties that Mr. Rebozo had communications with on this subject and to that end subpoenaed the records of telephone cails made from his Z residence and his place of business, the Key Biscayne Bank ar and Trust Company, Key Biscayne, Florida. We would like the assistance of the Bureau in determining the name and address of the subscriber of two telephones to which calls - were placed from the Key Biscayne Bank and Trust Company. Our information is that a telephone call was placed from the Key Biscayne Bank tc Mexico City (905) 525-0020 on June 21, 19872 and that a call was placed from the bank to Mexico City (905) 518-0020 on December 3, 1973. In addition, we would appreciate receiving any back~ ground information already in Bureau files relating to the | associations and activities of the subscribers to these two {; telephones as of the dates indicated.
