At the above time, SAC icKee of the Washineton Field
Office contactec the writer teleshonically with reference to
the above-entitled case, and advised that Lavra inzalls was TT
released on bond on the evening of December 21, 1941. Jt is
understood that this bond was executed through professional
bondsmen and was divided between several o* ther. No information
as available as to who was res onsitle for these arranzenents
being rade.

Baron ULlricn von Gienanth were obtained, as well as various
prepacang4 penchlets that a-varently were delivered to the subject
by, wopyy. enanth through Julia hraus as intermediary. Abbott
nialis, brother of the subject, is back in New York City and
Le! nas possession of tne brief cass belonginz tc ingalls. He was
contactec by tne New York Office with reference to this brief
case and stated that he would keep it intact, pending further
advice. sn additional search warrant was to be issued with
reference to this brie? case, and, in view of the fact that the
subject was released on bond last eveninz, this matter is being .
pressed by SaC i.ckee. SAC McKee subsequently called and advised -~
that the brief case had been obtained and contained therein were |
numerous Anerica First papers, a copy of Eitler's book entitled
PThe New Order" and Hitler's book entitled "hein Kampf." The
book "The New Order" had been underlined and longhand notations
mace therein, apparently by the subject. In addition, there was
obtained a copy of a telegran, of which the Bureau has had sre-
vious aavice, to the fact that Ingalls should continue her
