At 2:30 P.H. on duly 7, 1942, SHITH was interviewed by Special Agent in Charge JOHN S, BUGAS and the writer in the office of the Special Agent in Charge, The interview lested until 3:20 P.M. and Subject was asked to give all the . informaticn in his possession comerning the alleged plot which he reported ¢o the Attorney Generai, Persistent attempts were made to confine Subject to this limited scope but he furnished practically no fects which were not already krnowmm to the Bureau.
