The demonstrators blocked the entrance to the store. Officials of the Jewel Food Company requested the Skokie PD to provide police prutection fur the sture. Police officials requested that the demonstraturs conduct their demonstration without blocking the entrance tu the store. The demonstrators refused. The demonstrators were told to disperse and twelve individuals refused to du so. Aflér a second warnin, to disperse, eight individuals continued their refusat to loave the area and were placed under arrest. The remaining demonstrators left the scene vf the demonstration peacefully. The demonstrators indicated that they represented the United Farm Workers Organizing Committec, American Federation of Labor - Congress Of Industrial Oryvanizations and that they were supporting the National Farm Workers Association in that group's natitunwide protest of the sale of California table yvrapes.
