had been y reading, & an article in "The Reporter" magazine, dated Pecenber
23, 1952, uhich article was cantioned "Tne Case of the F: “seing Diplomate”,
Page 28. He said that he and his wife had seen the subiects on
Tuesday, the exact date unknowm, but recalls that it uas before July
of 1941, stated that the subiects were English and driving a
sports car throuph LaSuerche-De-Pretarne, France, @@mliMb stated that
he felt foolish in coming to the FBI Office to give such a emall amount
of information, but offered this inforration for what walue it may be
worth. He scid that the sicht of any Englishmen in thie particular
part of France was not commonnlace anc that, therefore, he sincerely
belicves that these two men were the subjects, He seid that he has no
further infcrmation on the subjects.
