The car was a snall sports car, make unknom, and color not remembered. The car contained two young men, whom he could not describe, and stopped for a few seconds in the market placa to ask directions of ao unknown individual who was working at ono of tho stalls in the mrket place, They then drove on in tho direction ¢ Mantes, Fran france * stated that he was standing about fifty yards froo this car at the time it stopped, did not talk to the individuals, did not talk to the individual from whom they asked directions and was mot cisse enough to the car to identify the individuals therein if he sas them againg The individuals at the time made no iz>ression on hin and ba did not notice the license plate on tho car. He stated that the only reason he noticed the car at all was because it was not common for this type car to go through la Querche-De-Bretagnes France, a5 there are no tourist attractions in this city. Ho stated that after reading the above-ocntioned article in “Tho Reporter," he felt that these two individuals mizht have been the subjects and felt the matter should be referred to tho FBI for what it was worth, . - . Photographs of the subjects were displayed +a at which time be advised that be did not recognize tuo subjects as being the individuals in the car in question. He stated that from the distame where bo was standing at the time he noticed the car, he would not mv: been able to identify the individuals had they been the subjects, wipe arated , advised that she was not with ber husbaal at the tims he saw tho car and individuals in question, and, therefore, could not famish apy information aboat them.
