MISCELLANEOUS; INFORMATION CONCERN ING
CRIME SURVSY
At 5:30 p.m. on August 9, 1946 I spoke with Special agent in-
Charge H. B. FLETCHER at the San Francisoo Field Division. I adwised him
generally cf the investigation concerning SIEGEL and particularly of
the matter concerning the Flamingo Hotel. [ advised him that a hearing
was to be held before a C.P.A. Commissioner in San Francisco on | Tuseday,
August 13, 1946. I further advised him that SIEGEL planned to be in San
Francisoo for the hearing and that we desired coverage, b oth technical pre
and microphone, on SIEGEL while he is in San Francisco. Mr. FLETCHER
asked if there was any other action need be taken and I told him none
r was necessary at this time, I advised Mr. FLETCHER that

containing additional information concerning the ¢.P.A. hearing at San
Francisco. I asked him to check the records of the Palace Hotel under
the additional names listed in our teletype.
