Pursuant to Di Pres . on Saturday evening, Au a b: personal friend of mine e Cluilian oriefly that certain Production Administration. individuals ineluding Stegel had been attempting to obtain clearance to build this hotel near Las Vegas which tt was my understanding was to be utilized-as a gambling casino. J stated that a hearing had bee held in San Francisco on August 13 relative to the freeze order which had been issued by the CPA and another hearing was coming up on September 5, at which it wo ined whether further construc would be permitted.
