Director, FBI August 2, 1946 Re: CAPGA are connscted with drew the above inference, Reference is made to a letter from the Bureau to Loa Ahzelas Office dated July 24, 1946, entitled CAPGA", wherein the Bureau requeated information concerning the ownership of the Del Mar Race Track at Del War. California. The informant states that he has definitely made up his mind that BENJAMIN "BUGS" SIEGEL has no interest in the track, it le the intention of the new management to police the track closely, throwing out every character, tout and bookmaker that makss his appearance at the track, is of the opinion that any scandal attached to the operation of the track will reflect upon the new management as well as on all tracks throuzhout the tInited States.
