DUNN | ve Baron Van Der Noot, of 305 West 98th Street, who has bean a a frequent visitor at the New York Office in the case of Petrick Kelly, Impersonation, came to the New York Office today (October 27th) accompanied by one R. R.« Waterman, who maintains a place of busi:.ass Us . . at 100 West 37th Street, New York City and who resides at 3447 D-xalb , Avenue, The Bronx. —_ Waterman stated that he was formerly Treasurer of the Bonus Expeditionary Forces and was engaged in soliciting funds fcr them, and during this time maintained an office at 100 tery 37th. Street. He stated that an individual by the name of Duke* Hadley, during August of this year, had phoned to Waterman's office on siveral wre occasions in sn attempt to make an appointment with Faterman and _ &t one time came to the office during Waterman's absence and waited three hours for him. Waterman stated that he later arranged an - appointment at 9 P.li. on or about August 25, 1932 and took Baron : a :. + Van Der Noot with him to meet Hadley. ‘Vaterman stated that as neur he 4 : ‘a8 he can recall Hadley met them at his home in a large apartmen’ cons hotel on either 47th or 45th Street. Nir, Waterman stated that his interest in meeting Hedley was because he supposed Hadley wished %o coutribute something to the B.E.F.
