seen sround Dexter, Iowa, where they had camp in woods,
Mondsy, July 24, 1955, subjects engaged in gun battle with
officers in wools north of Dexter, Iowm. One officer, Cs Ce Riley, Deputy
Sheriff, Des Moinos, Iowa, badly wounded, but will recover. Stole Plymouth
Sedan belonging to Valley Fellers, Redfield, lows, and abandoned same near
Polk City, Iowa, Stole Chevrolet Coach belonging to George Allbright, and
abandoned same on July £7, 1955 at Broken Bow, Nebraska, Marvin and Blanche
Barrow captured at Dexter, Iowa.

These perties arrived in a Model A Ford, 1950 Model, 4 door
Sedan, black body, green wire wheels, spare tire on rear and amill silver eagle
on each front fender, larger eagle on gas tank cap in front of windshield,
tail light on each rear fender of car, Motor #1525597, bearing 1955 Texas
license 265-972.
On July 27, 1985S, there appeered in the Kansas City Star an
article reflecting the sprehension of one Harbert Blythe, near Seminole, :
