J. Dowd, Dalles, Texas 7-855 and letter from Dallas Bureau Office dated F=-le<355 DETAILS: lir. K, D, Talliaferro, who operates the B & H Service Station at Medill, Oklahoma, advised the writer that he purchased a 1923 model V<8 Ford Coupe, Motor No» 40-251245, from the Woody Motor Company of Madill, Oklahoma May 5, 1955 and that while he paid for most of the purchase price of this car it was financed by the Universal Credit Company and insured with the Home Life Insurance Company of New York for 75% of its value. Title to this car, therefore, Talliaferro stated, is in his name but the Home Life Insurance Company of New York hold a mortgsge against Bane s On June 6, 1953 about 8 P.M, Tallisferro seid thet he drove this Geanko the front of the home of Mr. Tom Lee Scott and left the keya in it. When he Came out of Mr. Scott's home about 25 minutes later the car wae gone and he has no idea who stole it. He said that Mrs. Joe iverett, wife of a deputy sheriff, sew a "strange, small woman" looking around on the street about that tims in the evening as if she were looking for someone or somsthing, but Mrs, Everett could give no de« seription whatever of this women except that she was a strange smell woman. Mr. Tellie ferro values this car at $646.00 and said that there was about 1000 miles on it when it wes stolen.
