The men were in 5 new automobile, probably a Foard V8 Coupe, equipped with Cklahome tags. Clyde Route 1, Butler, Missouri, saw the Ford coach being burned near Butler, but did not see any Persons near it. Pe REFERENCE: Repart of Special Agent W. F. DETAILS: At Butler, Missouri Sheriff Hert Bradley stated that the first information he DETAILS: received concerning the burning of a Fori coach came from a young mmm named Borland, whe lives about 10 miles enst of Butler. W's Bradley went to the place; found the car, and had it towed in, The local Ford dealer showd him where to find the secret number on the car, and Mr, Bredley checked the car ani found the motor number to be 16-231602, and mde note of the same ani has preserved the sam. As stated in the report of reference, the car was canpletely destroyed and head no value at the tims of its resovary.
