Thc driver of the car told police that when the light changed the truck began following the car, at times driving 50 miles per hour and as close as six feet from the car's bumper. The driver told that his car stalled once and then died and that HO coasted to a stop in front of a house at 7712 ‘Bellihaven Boulevard. The four occupants of the car, two boys and two girls, ran up into the yard of the house and while they were running about six shots were fired at them. said the truck continued down Belihaven about one haif of a mile and wrecked. The occupants ran into the woods and were arrested by State Highway petrolinmen and County police. Found near the truck by officers were two .12 gauge shotguns, and two .22 and 32 caliber pistols.
