Brother Ben Chavis, I'd like to thank Brother Ben Chavis for coming as far as he did to come up to speak to the people. We'd like to thank- Brother Milton Fitch from the Southern Christian Leadership conference. We'd like to thank Brother Golden Frinks from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, as well as Sister Lee Faye Mack, who is right here in Winston-Salem trying to arganize people also. "I'm not geing to make a very 1 € at this time that it's not necessary to do a whole lot of talking. But what I'd like to do, is I'd like to put a question before the people of this community. And that is we got to decide this one thing right here. We have to decide who's going to control the black community. Are the black people right here, oppressed people right here in this community going to control, or are those white racist, avaricious, sissie punks from Buena Vista and Sherwocd Forest going to control the community? “This is the question that’s facing us. At this time now it's very cold. At this time we should not be on the outside “ig v Bs looking in. We should be on the inside looking outside of Be Adkins Aucitorium.,. But that's not the case right now because %. the power structure in this city is making an all-out campaign & to try te destroy the organization.
