The BPP Chapter at Winston-Salem, N. C., contacted several black colleges in North Caplina attempting to arrange speaking engagements for BPP Chairman BOBBY SEALE in an effort to raise funds for the BPP. Ags a result of these efforts, arrangements were made for SEALE to speak at the Winston-Salem State University on 11/14/71, and at Saint Augustine's College, Raleigh, N. C., 11/15/71. The sources report the Winston-Salem Chapter of the BPP expected to receive $900 from the fees being paid SEALE for his speeches, however, this amount was not confirmed. It is noted..that the speaking arrangements for SEALE called for hi to recéive $1500 for his appearance at Winston-Salem State University which was to be payable by checkyStronghold Productions Company, and $1,000 for his speech at Saint Augustine's to be paid by check made payable to Stronghold Productions Company. In addition, LARRY LITTLE received a commitment from the student government officers at the School of Performing Arts, Winston-Salem, N. C., that they would donate $500 to cover SEALES travel expense for the speaking engagement. The BPP Chapter continues to solicit food from local merchants to support the Free Breakfast for Children Program, however, sources continue to report the i BPP members themselves have been eating most of the food | donated leaving very little if any for the children. | “Vig lng B.
