felt the Panthers were uncouth and stupid and many of the
questions concerned the lack of education, administrative
ability and the goals for the Panther group, The talks by
RICE and LITTLE were primarily derogatory and ran down the
college and instructors for their lack of black identity
and black involvement.

It was Jearned on 2/21/70, approximately 4 carloads;
of panthers went to a dance at Winston-Salem, N,C,, State
University which was a part of black identity week and ROBER
TAYLOR GREER yelled and cursed at people at the dance for their
lack of support for the BPP, threatening to forcibly shave

Concerning pertinent BPP activities, it is noted
that the group at Winston-Salem, N,C., regularly receives
approximately 600 copies of BPP newspaper and are observed
selling these papers on streets in Winston-Salem, N,C,
- ". The group held their Huey P. Newton Birthday rally
on 2/15/70, a complete transcript of which has previously
been furnished to the Bureau. Of interest was the fact that
the Huey" P. Newton Defense Fund,
