given to them as a courtesy to assist them in what he under-
stood was to be the furtherance of the cultural exchange and
good will between the group in Georgia and the Libyan Dele- -
gation.
Gambrell stated that he has not seen nor heard any-
thing about that particular matter since that time and does
not know whether any such type of organization or society
was actually formed or who or if the particular statement he
gave Hudgins was signed. He added that Carter to his recol-
lection never discussed the matter with him after that period. _

Gambrell again stated that he at no time ever drew ;
up any corporation papers or any other such documents pertaining
to Carter or other Georgians and the Libyan Delegation. He
did state that if by chance there had been a copy kept of the
paragraph. which he gave to Hudgins in his office he would be
more than willing to furnish same to the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI).
