MO 7A-878
On 4/14/81, John T. Bartlett, Director of Searcy
Hospital, Mount Vernon, Alabama, was contacted and requested
to furnish the data per referenced teletypes. Mr. Bartlett
telephonically contacted a Deputy State Attorney General
who saw no objection to furnishing this information to the FBI.
Mr. Bartlett summoned the Medical Records Supervisor and
directed that a compilation of patients released between
1/1/78 and 7/21/79 with relocation addresses, other than the
20 southern counties in Alabama, and specifically those former
patients who intended to go to Atlanta or any Georgia locale,
be prepared for the FBI. The Director and Supervisor estimated
it would take at least two to three weeks to prepare the
compilation as each discharged patient file must be personally
reviewed.
