Result of exanination: It could not be determined whether the writer of tha Zodiac letters in the case "ZODIAC; EXTORTION” prepared the questioned writing on specimens ‘Q27 and Q28, because of distortion and unexplaine] variations . While a definite conclusion could ‘not be reached in this exanination, some characteriatica were noted which in ic t i $ ee ee ee re ee mae a that the writer of the Zodiac letters should not be eliminated as a possible suspect in the preparation of specinens Q27 and Q28. No watermarks, indented writing or other features were found on specimens Q27 and Q28 which would be of value in determining the source of these specinens..
