AT 7A~-1835 received from an unknown white male caller on 1/8/81 and 1/15/81, with the recorded interview of LTC By way of background investigation, the Conyers Sheriff's Office, Conyers, Georgia, received a call from an unknown white male on 1/8/81, claiming responsibility for the recent murders in the ATKID investigation. The unknown caller gave directions where the last victim was buried. A search by the Conyers PD and Sheriff's Office was conducted on 1/9/81 in the area described by the caller with negative results. On 1/31/80, a telephone call was made by an unknown white male to the principal of the Pine Street Elementary School, Conyers, Georgia. The caller advised the principal that he was going to abduct a white child from that svuswl wy z/ ay ‘ol. Suspect, was developed by the Conyers Police Department. y, Bell was interviewed by Investigator WM, Conyers -7C_ PD, and SA QP, FEI, Atlanta, Georgia. SH denied making any telephone calls regarding these extortion threats, but consented to a voice recording.
