In July, 1951 Mr. PRATT and Mr, ONASSIS made
another agreement whereby Socony would receive two T-2 tankers
as a subst
{tution for the OLYMPIC TORCH. It was necessary
that ONASSTS obtain the OLYMPIC TORCH, a foreign flag vossel,
to fulfil
an aprcement he had made with the Anglo-Saxon
Oil Companye Socony was satisfied with the substitution
as it adde
d greater flexibllity to their flect and as the
market for a 28,000 ton vessel was very poor. Socony did

As previously reported the OLYMPIC TORCH time charter
ed and the vessel was re-delivored on August 3, 1951.
