He stuted that on contucting BERENSON on this occasion BunENSOH offerod to sell nin &> shares of USPC g/ stock for ania, STORN said he was also very happy 5) about this and immediutely agreed to accept the stock at the - agreed price inasmuch as he ; STOREN, felt the stock was worth - more than per share, Ho said he felt that this gesture on the part of .BaRENSO! was another way of expressing his appreciution for the job he had done on the first tanker and also was a manner of tying him to USPC for future services. In fact, he stuted he felt BEReNSON was more or less giving the stcck to him as it was his impression the shures of stock would represent approximately 14 interest in seven T-2 tankers, STOREN wus definite that the | price was sot —-" Dy BsRENSON and advised he paid for the stock by his own personal check peyuble to RsRENSON, which check was drawn on vither the Pucific Nationa] Bank, San Francisco, California, or the Chase National Runk, New York City.
