Synopsis of case: On or about November 2, 2000 writer telephonically
contacted AUSA Klein regarding captioned matter. Writer advised
AUSA Klein that to date allegations regarding the concealment of
jewelry by Marshall from the bankruptcy court had not been
sustained. However, the investigation continues and writer is
attempting to obtain additional information regarding exactly
what jewelry was concealed. The subject alleges that her jewelry
was stolen pre-petition and that she filed a tax return claiming
a loss based on the theft of the jewelry. The matter has also
been referred to IRS-CID.
Based upon the advice of AUSA Klein, writer will
continue investigation of captioned matter. It should be noted
