Although freely conced-
ing he employed various
subterfuges to gain the
conferees’ confidence, Fink
stressed that all conference
sessions were billed as
“unclassified” and ‘several’
speakers “indicated they
were apologetic about cut-
ting short their talxs on
new weapons systems be-
cause of the possibility of
violating security.”
Robert C. Seamans Jr.,
secretary of the Air Force,
was the guest of honor and -
principal speaker at the
dinner which concluded
two days of meetings.
