as follows:
‘we hereby declare our conscientious refusal to cooperate —-
with the United States Government in the prosecution of
the war in Vietnan.
“We encourage those who can conscientiously do so to
refuse to serve in the armed forces and to ask for
discharge if they are already in. .
“Those of us who are subject to the draft oursélves
declare our own intention to refuse to serve.
“Wwe urge others to refuse and refuse ourselves to take
part in the manufacture or transportation of military
equipment, or to work in the fields of military research
and weapons development.
“we shall encourage the development of ether nonviolent
acts, including acts which involve civil disobedience,
in order to etop the fiow of American soldiers and
munitions to Vietnan. *
“
