The time seems appropriate to consider same of the long-run trends in
Service Committce activities, Four observations may be made.
1, There has been a shift in the type of organization

In its early years, Service Committee organization was informal and fluid,
In all cases, the working group was shaped to fit the particular job. +

Now, the AL F.S.C. is a large organization, with some 200-300 permanent,

salaried employees, most of whom have lost contact with their igina
fields of productive enterprise, For the most part, those who do this
