AFRICARS MOVE ISTO POWER IN NORTHERN PHOPESTA
Assuuing the formation of a coalition between the nationalist parties, Northercr
Bhodesia is about te becore the newest additien to the list of African states with
African governments. That coalition seems certain, although as this is being writ-
ten (November Zend), Sir Rey Weleushy, Prime Minister of the Federation of Rhodesia
and Nyasaland, dis still whistling in the dark about believing such a cealition is
not soing to ceme about, Sir Roy, according to the Rhodesian Herald, EAyS "Ee it
docs happen it will bi extremely difficult for the Federal Government." Actually,
it will make the continued existence of this Federation impossible for much Longer.
In the clecticn held October 30th*, the United Federal Party won 15 seats; the
United Independence Party won 14 seats (ineluding an independent candidate backed
