The Comnittee is the expression of only a small reliriovs group, but it enlists the support of many other like-minded people of all denominaticns, Tocay, the.Committee maintains a wide ranre of projects at home and abroad—the care of destitute children in war-ruined Europe, notably Fraice; aid to refucees of many nationalities in many parts of the world; efforts to rehabilitate the fanilics of the permanently unemployed coal miners and cotton sharccronpers; work cams for young people secking to meke a contribution to the Nation!s welfare throurh constructive labor; educational projects throurh which Americans may - gain knorlodye of the conditions underlying racial, class and internaticnal conflicts, These and many other activities aim at creating human fellowship
