’ Alfred C, Kinsey, author of “Sex Behavior in the. Human
Male,” told a probation and parole conference that present-day
law “manufactures” a large portion of the persons brought into
court as sex offenders.

that it would be “utter nonsense”
to try to determine one single

KINSEY said that’ many Cen-

can residents are amazed to find
that 3 per cent of all persons in
United States prisons are sex
offenders and that California has
a prison population of which 10
per cent are sex violators. .
