On 3/23/27, SA lwas advised by the
Anderson, Indiana PD that they were holding twenty-five
reels of nu and fiftees reels of lémm obscene fils: playing
cards, boo'ts and Phamphlets, all also of obscene nature.
“ne Anderson PD had taxen the atove material from two tool
boxes which a cab driver had been given “10 to obtain fron
Pennsylvania Railroad Station lockers, that city, after
wich he was to express the> as desiznated to the Research
Ixstituse at Indiana University. Secause of the unusual
circu~stances, the cab driver reported this incident to the
Anderson PD, which departrent in turn, with the assistance
of the Special Agent of the Railway Express Company,
co:fiscated the film, after which they sent the eripty boxes
on to Bloomington, Indiana. .
