1 1 SF 76-2887 L. wa Salt Lake City communication of October 11, 1962, advised that on October 10, 1962, at 5:35 p.m. an anonymous call was received at that office from an individual who stated he was calling from Kemmerer, Wyoming. This individual talked in a low voice which was difficult to understand; however, he stated the two brothers who escaped from Alcatraz were in the Star Hotel in Kemmerer at that moment. He indicated the hotel was "locked up now" and that we should be careful. de refused to give further details and disconnected the call.
