With regard to how James VY. Bennett, Director of the * f=
Bureau of Prisons, came into possession of information regarding
the photographs, names, addresses and personal items found in
packets floating in the San Francisco Bay which belonged to
escapees John and Clarence Anglin, SAC Price of our San Francisco
Office advised that the Coast Guard delivered these items to

operating in the San Francisco Bay. Coast Guard was aware of the
contents of the packets.

of the recovery of the packet from the Bay, Wilkinson could be
