She stated that to her , knowledge, none of them ever contacted her at Dr, EINSTEIN'S Office nor did any of them attempt to contact Dr, EINSTEIN, She stated that she had no personal knowledge of any of them and that she rather doubts that they would have tried to contact Dr, EINSTEIN at his office, inasmuch as he 3 very few callers, but handled most of his affairs by wed She stated that she has never been interested in politics here in the United States or in Germany, except that she was against the rise of Hitler in Germany. She stated that her only interest in life has been EINSTEIN and that she follows all of his wishes. She stated that at no time would she have engaged in any activity without first bringing it to Dr, EINSTEIN's attention. She stated that she never had any knowledge of anyone in ~ Germany, who was interested in Communism, attempting to infiltrate Dr. EINSTEIN's office or the office of any other scientist traveling in Dr, EINSTEIN's circle. She stated that during the period 1929 to 1933, Dr, EINSTEIN was extremely active in his work in Berlin, and that he enjoyed good health and his social demands were very heavy, that he handled practically all of his correspondence from his home, and was essisted to some extent by his wife and oldest step-daughter. At the present time, Dr, EINSTEIN does nearly all “of his work from his home. As to the Klub Der Geistesarbeiter, she has no knowledge of such an organization.
