According to the Informant, this statement was siened by five individuals one of vhom was Professer EINGTFIN. : bID » advised on 7/12/51 Liat she had received from the Civil Rights Congress a mimeograph pamphlet entitled, "The Case of the Eleven Cemmunist Leaders," prepared by the Civil Kights Congress, 23 West 26th St., New York ily dated 5/51, This pamphlet discussed the indictment and conviction of the eleven Communist leaders under the Smith Act and urged the recipients of the pamphlet to send letters to then President HARPY €, TRUMAN and Attorney General HOVAPD MC GRATH demanding that the conviction of the eleven Communist leadere be reviewed ard the Smith Act be declared unconstitutional.
