appeared at the office of Assistant United Stetes fttorney, THOMAS F,
MURPHY, USDC, Southern District of New York, at which time, Miss ROSENBERG
honored a subpoena duces tecum calling for Miss ROSENBENG to produce
the original receint bocks and official records cf the ACM.

The Fecoples Daily World dated 8/23/48 steted that EINSTET
sponsored a petition of the ACDG and accerding to the Daily Worker }
of 9/2/48, Tage 7, EINSTEIN signed 9 statement of ths Couneil condmning
the Greek Government,
The Daily Worker dated 7/4/49 contained an article vhich
stated in part that the ACDG announced that a petition bearing 16,90)
signatures requesting the applicetion of the Geneva convention to
military and civilian prisoners in Greece had teen sent to the National
Red Cross. According te this article the name of EINSTEIN was among
