Intelligence concerning ‘ABBEIS and Professor Albert STEIN.
LO Inclosed herewith is another report from the European Command _ -
concerning EINSTEIN's affiliation with Communists and the use of his
office in Berlin, Germany until 1933 as a telegram address shy Agents
of the Comintern and other Soviet apparati.
we 7 ~ The European Command has indicated that no further investi gation
_ of EINSTEIN will be made unless so directed. In forwarding the attached
. report, the BE Eyropean Command requested any information available regard-
, ing Siegfried-SINSTEIN, allegedly residing in Switzerland. Accordingly,
it is requested that such information as your files may contain concern-
ing Siegfried EINSTEIN be made available to the Office of the Assistant
Chief of Staff, 9-2, Intelligence f for transmittal to the European Coa-
mand.
