Reference letter re- quested that the European Command interview Emma RABBEIS in order to obtain the positive information which she stated she could furnish regarding EDNSTEIN and an unnamed associate. Transmitted herewith for your information is a copy of y | / an Agent Report dated 22 June 1950 from the European Command h containing the results of an interview with Emma RABBIS .con- * cerning her knowledge of Professo EINSTEIN. The European Command advised that it appears evident from the information contained in the above report that RABSEIS~ knows nothing other than hearsay information regarding EINSTEIN. However, information which emanated from former well placed KPD members regardinz EINSTEHIN's past activities is presently being checked and the European Command will forward a detailed f report upon completion thereof.
