At this time he advised me that at a later date he wold request such investigation, if ey, ae he desired this office to make. I advised him that I would assign & com , petent Agent whenever request was mate of me as to this. \. On March 27, 1929, contempt citation eas had / : before U. S. District Judge Charles B. Woodward at Chicago, as .- ageinst ALPHONSE CAPONE, charging him with contempt es to his | _/ ~ action in failing to respond to subpoena served upon him in 4 S Florida March 12th, 1029, On this same date Capone was oN arreigned before the Court and geve bond in the amount of $500 Ne for his appearance when called to answer to thie charge. Qt oC Hearing has not as yet been had in Court as to a Capone, and the United States Attorney has made no requést upon me for further investigation.
