Dear Sir:
Please be advised that we have ascertained
through a confidential source that the newspaper re-—
ports to the effect that AL CAPONE is paralyzed are
false, We have determined that on his transfer from
Alcatraz to Terminal Isiand he was in very good spirits
and was in a very receptive, talkative mood. He
showed no evidences of being paralyzed.
We have obtained the latest photograph of
CAPONE, two copies of which, together with his de-
scription, are being forwarded herewith. There are
also attached two newspaper items relating to CAPONE.
