SSC Zwillman is one of the most notorious racket figures in the country and is known to be extremely wealthy. He has long been a close associate of the country's most notorious racketeers Such as Meyer Lansky, Charles “Lucky" Luciano, Joe Adonis, and others. He was known to have been business partner of Luciano in coin-operated . vending machine enterprises prior to Luciano's imprisonment and subsequeat deportation. In those same businesses, Zwillman is currently associated with Michael Lascari who succeeded to Luciano's interest. Lascari and Luciano were extremely close, having been reared in the same house- hold and it is possible Lascari may merely be "fronting" Luciano's interest.
