The major source of most of the country's problems can be traced to widespread political corruption among our elected officials. On the one hand we see billions of dollars spent to beef up our military forces supposedly to ward off a direct military attack while at the same time the country is being effectively invaded every year by millions of illegal aliens. I think even the F. B. I. would be surprised at the full extent of kick backs to elected officials from defense contractors, foreign politicians benefiting from our aid programs and from interest groups (blood suckers) representing illegal aliens. There is no way that the illegal alien problem and other widespread, organized crime could go on without the corruption among elected officials at all levels of government. Congress, especially, has become a cesspool of corruption, and most everybody knew it long before AEBSCAM. The corrupt politicians are uncomfortable following ABSCAM, and they should be. They have organized congressional hearings to intimidate you and your agents because of the ABSCAM convictions. Please don't let them prevent you from’ conducting such investigations. Thank God for the F.B.I. Thank God for ABSCAM, , and thank God for videotapes!!
