Baxley, Attorney General of the State of Alabama, had requested the results of certain aspects of investigation conducted by this Bureau in captioned case. As you were advised at that time, Mr. Baxley was told his request had been referred to your Division. Mr. Baxley has again contacted this Bureau requesting results of certain aspects of FBI investigation in captioned case. He was again toid that his request would be referred to the Civil Rights Division. Enclosed is a memorandum setting out details of that contact, oo No further action will be taken by this Bureau regatding Mr. Baxley's request in the absence of specific instructions from you.
